The Puget Sound Off Road adventure camp was held in Roy, WA when I attended. It was then a two day training session. Since then they have added another day which is and actual adventure ride on which they continue stressing and testing the skills taught in the first two days.
Although I had previously completed the Dalton (Haul Road) Highway to Prudhoe Bay, the Trans-Lab through Labrador, and ridden some of the trails at Riders Camp in the Cascades I knew I needed to develop better skills for the next planned ride, The Oregon Backcountry Discovery Route.
The PSSOR Adventure Camp was a great experience. I met riders who I’ve completed a couple of adventure rides with since and was much better prepared for the OBCDR. I highly recommend the camp and plan to do another session with them again.
