About half way through our morning tour, Lonnie our guide took us to the Dragon’s Eye, a high rock window. It is located inside a partial dome which created the feeling and sound of an amphitheater. While there he played flute then sang us a Navaho song of safe travel. The acoustics took us back in time to when his ancestors may have performed the same ritual.
