The Eric Von Zipper Memorial Ride
I’ve always named our cross country rides. Norm named this one in tribute to Harvey Lembeck who played the character Eric Von Zipper in six of the beach party movies made in the sixties. Von Zipper was a parody of characters in biker movies created in the same time period, just as Norm and I are parodies of serious bikers.
